HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN HAIR?
My mom has her license to cut hair, so I always grew up getting my haircut in the kitchen. Once I got into Junior High, I decided I wanted to be a stylist (not my mom, no offense Lori), and I fell in love with the culture of salons. It made me feel so special. I took cosmetology in High School, got a job assisting in a salon, and the rest is history.
HOW DO YOU WANT CLIENTS TO FEEL AFTER A HAIR APPOINTMENT?
I want my clients to leave my chair feeling mentally lighter. Physical change is therapeutic. Taking care of yourself is therapeutic. Being seen and heard is THE MOST THERAPEUTIC.

WHERE DO YOU DRAW YOUR STYLE INSPIRATIONS FROM?
My inspiration comes from anywhere, mostly visual storytelling like movies, TV shows, music videos, perfume ads, etc. Style is so fluid for me; it depends on what I am trying to embody. Some days I am just in a David Bowie, space alien, Rockstar, Ziggy Stardust, goblin-king type of headspace. Some days I am just seeking my inner Bond Girl. If it feels right and authentic to you, that is inspired style! Don't dull that!
HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR FREE TIME?
I love stories, be it books, movies, or plays. Tell me a good story! I love spending time with my husband and my cat. I also enjoy pottery.

I like low maintenance long mermaid hair...or like bitchy bobs.
