HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN HAIR?
Honestly, my career started from a bad haircut turned really fun experience behind the chair. It prompted me to be like, Oh! I dig the vibe of a hair salon, so I became a hair stylist.
HOW DO YOU WANT CLIENTS TO FEEL AFTER A HAIR APPOINTMENT?
This is my favourite thing about doing hair - the look people give themselves at the end of an appointment, and it doesn't matter if they are 10-years old, a men's cut, or a full-throttle transformation. I love that look clients give themselves in the mirror at the end, that inner confidence of, I look good, I feel good.
WHERE DO YOU DRAW YOUR STYLE INSPIRATIONS FROM?
Kind of a little bit of everything, I love home decor, I love flower arrangements, I love...architecture, travelling. [So art in all forms?] Yes, art in all forms for sure. I feel I don't get most of my inspiration from hair, but more often from travelling and experiencing different things, and seeing things I've never seen before, that always inspires me.
HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR FREE TIME?
I love to spend time with the people I love, my husband, my dog Alfie, my sisters, and friends. I love cooking, I love going to nice restaurants. I also love downtime, drinking coffee, and shopping, once in awhile!
WHAT’S YOUR SIGNATURE CUT OR STYLE?
I love seamless, organic styles and shapes! Flowing layers, and fringe, or bangs and of course, a great French bob!
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE PART ABOUT FRANKIE?
The collective–coming together, and doing the thing you love doing, with people who love doing the same thing. Being able to create together and have fun. I think when you can find people in the same space as you, who have the same vibe, and they all want to be here for the greater good, it can never be bad.
